These terms are between you and WeldonPC.com (Garfield Heights, Ohio), which runs Service Bottle at servicebottle.com.
1. The service
Service Bottle is a record-keeping tool for the upkeep of things you own or look after. You enter the things, the tasks and the records; the site works out what is due and shows it to you. It does not perform, book or sell any service.
2. Intervals are starting points, not advice
The built-in task list uses common intervals as starting points. They are not safety, legal or warranty advice and do not replace your owner's manual, the maker's instructions, an inspection by a qualified person, or local rules. Due dates are only as good as the dates and readings you enter. You are responsible for deciding when work is needed.
3. Accounts
Accounts are for people aged 13 or over. Keep your password to yourself. You can export every record (CSV) and delete your account at any time from the account page.
4. Free and paid
- Free: one thing, up to eight tasks, the full history and CSV export.
- Service Bottle Plus: $1.95 a month or $19.50 a year, renewing automatically until you cancel: up to 50 things and 400 tasks, a private calendar feed, printable service histories and yearly cost totals.
Prices are in US dollars and payment is through PayPal, which requires the payer to be 18 or over. While the site is in preview nothing is sold or charged, Plus is open to every account, and the prices shown are the prices from launch.
If Plus ends, nothing you entered is deleted. You can still view, log and export everything; you only cannot add things or tasks beyond the free limits, the calendar feed goes quiet and printable histories are not available.
5. Cancelling and refunds
Cancel at any time from your account page (which cancels the PayPal subscription) or in PayPal itself. No further payments are taken and Plus keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. WeldonPC refunds any charge if you ask within 7 days of it (weldon@weldonpc.com). Outside that, there are no refunds for part of a period except where the law requires them. Deleting your account cancels a running Plus subscription at PayPal first.
6. Your records
Your records are yours. We use them only to run the service for you. Please keep your own copy of anything important (the CSV export is there for that); we back up the site but cannot promise that no data is ever lost.
7. Fair use
Do not try to break or overload the site, or use it to store anything unlawful.
8. Changes and availability
We try to keep the site available every day but cannot promise it. If we change these terms in a way that matters to people who pay, we will say so on the site and by email before the change applies to your next renewal.
9. Liability
The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, WeldonPC is not liable for damage, missed maintenance or costs that follow from a due date shown or not shown, and WeldonPC's total liability to you is limited to what you paid in the last 12 months. Ohio law governs these terms.
